Dr. Arnold Stalk, PhD & SHARE Announce New Affordable Housing Model for Previously Homeless Families

Las Vegas Non-Profit SHARE Announces the Development of Las Vegas Family Housing Villages. A first of its kind Grassroots Effort to End Homelessness in Southern Nevada.

LAS VEGAS – March 5, 2018 – PRLog — For more than four decades Dr. Arnold Stalk, PhD has developed dozens of notable emergency shelters, transitional housing and permanent rental housing developments in Nevada, California and throughout the U.S. and is Currently the Principal of Arnold Stalk Consulting and SHARE, a non-profit 501©(3) organization founded in 1994.

For the last five years, his primary focus has been the development of Veterans Village Las Vegas which consists of more than 500 living units for United States Veterans and their families. The development of Las Vegas Family Housing Villages will give previously homeless working families a stepping stone beyond shelter life to transition back into society and become productive citizens.

The Las Vegas Family Housing Village is a nonprofit housing corporation and is currently in negotiations for its first location which is in the Fremont East District, Downtown Las Vegas.  Living units developed will serve the needs of families with low-to-moderate incomes.  In addition to affordable housing, future Las Vegas Family Housing Village residents will have access to comprehensive and intensive services including the Three Square Food Pantry and other intensive supportive services provided by the Veterans Village Crisis Intervention Center located at 50 N. 21st St. in Downtown Las Vegas.

It’s time to end homelessness in Southern Nevada once and for all.  Solving the affordable housing crisis requires a comprehensive approach.  I bring 43 years of experience in developing thousands of housing units for families. The newly formed Las Vegas Family Housing Villages will serve as the blueprint for the infrastructure necessary to end chronic homelessness in Southern Nevada and will be a replicable model for other cities across the country.” ~ Dr. Arnold Stalk, PhD

The Las Vegas Family Housing Village Non-profit Housing Corporation is actively seeking additional investors, community partnerships and the collaboration of other non-profits.
