Housing for our heroes with respect and dignity~~ A housing unit made from a standardized,Recycled ISO shipping container. The recycled housing units can be rapidly transported anywhere in the country via railroad “piggy-back” trains, semi, or jumbo air cargo transports for immediate occupancy for affordable housing that provides stability and support for our homeless, displaced and disadvantaged United States Veterans to successfully transition back into civilian life. Building materials for the prototype were funded by a grant received from the Home Depot Foundation who continues to support Veterans Village, Our United States Veterans an others in need across the country. Stations Casinos Month of Honor

STATION CASINOS “MONTH OF HONOR” IN MAY TO BENEFIT VETERANS VILLAGE Funds were raised through proceeds and gaming winnings of patriotic-themed offerings for Southern Nevada’s only 24/7 crisis intervention and housing facility for homeless veterans During the month of May 2015 Station Casinos launched a month-long fundraising effort to raise awareness and funds for homeless veterans and their families who reside at Veterans Village located in Downtown Las Vegas. At a special dedication ceremony held at Veterans Village on June 30th proceeds raised throughout May during the Month of Honor campaign were presented to Veterans Village. A total of $58,176 dollars was raised to benefit Southern Nevada’s only 24/7 crisis intervention and housing facility that cares for our local homeless veterans and their families. WestCare Nevada’s Women and Children’s Campus to Launch ‘Extreme Makeover’ Renovation Project   WestCare Women and children’s Campus. We just received a Home Depot Foundation “Celebration of Service” commitment and grant towards renovation of the WestCare Female Veterans and Children Wing residence. This makeover event will involve approximately 100 Home Depot Associate volunteers and will take place on October 30, 2013. We are addressing the female veteran homeless problem which is proportionately extremely high in the USA. I am very proud to be a part of this effort~ Arnold Stalk, Founder, SHARE. Veterans Village is managed by SHARE, a 501(c)3 organization founded in 1994 by Arnold Stalk and Karin Rogers to provide affordable housing for individuals in need. SHARE oversees all operations of services for Veterans Village residents.   Mission:  Veterans Village is a transitional and permanent housing residence for United States Veterans.  On site services include a 24-7 crisis intervention center, medical and mental health services, job referral and training, Three Square Regional Food Bank nutrition, clothing and a host of other services targeted at the promotion of independent living through economic and social self sufficiency. Located at 1150 Las Vegas Boulevard in a repurposed Econo Lodge motel. Variety Early Learning Center’s “NEW” Lorenzi Campus

The “NEW”  Variety Early Learning Center to be established at Lorenzi Park, West Las Vegas  needs your help to raise $750,000.00 dollars for labor and materials.  Our objective also includes securing skilled and non-skilled volunteers for the renovation of the former Nevada State Museum at Lorenzi Park.  We welcome any form of contribution whether it is monetary, in-kind donations or of time.  The natural setting of Lorenzi Park will provide a nurturing and peaceful environment for the community’s children in need.  The Lorenzi Park Campus will replace the outdated and outmoded 57 year old facility located at 990 D Street, Las Vegas.  The City plans to tear down the current Variety Center building in the near future so time is of the essence!
